CHALLENGE: To provide access scaffold for extensive renovation work on a bridge carrying an arterial road route 80 feet above a canal cutting.

SOLUTION. A large scale scaffolding scheme to provide clear access for a range of remedial works.

The scheme involved repairs to the bridge deck and structure, waterproofing, new road surfacing and white lines, and upgrading bridge parapets.

– Re-waterproof the bridge deck
– Install new expansion joints
